Broken Rib Healed Instantly

I broke a rib and was suffering from tremendous pain. It was painful to get in and out of bed, attempting to sleep, work and even function daily. Pastor Rick prayed for me on a Sunday.  The pain left my body that night.  I was able to sleep comfortably and function pain-free for the first time in weeks.  Jesus touched my body and healed all my pain.  I have not experienced any pain.  Jesus healed me!   -Lele

 

Pinched Nerve and Arm Injury and Pain Healed Instantly

I want to thank Pastors Rick and Rebekah for their continued support and prayer.  On a phone call with Pastor Rebekah, I mentioned I needed prayer for a sever pain in my arm and a pinched nerve in my neck. I think I tore a ligament in my bicep from moving so many heavy boxes in a recent move. Pastor Rebekah immediately prayed for me over the phone and both pains were completely gone while we were talking!  Thank you, Jesus!  The next day the pains came back.  Pastors Rick and Rebekah prayed with me again and reminded me of my authority and how we put up with too much from the enemy!  My pain is now gone and I can move my arm and lift things freely with no pain at all.  Praise God!  Thank you, Pastors Rick and Rebekah, for always being available with support and prayer even when I am all the way in Colorado!  -Kris

 

 

The Healing of my Pet Dog, Quincy

I would like to praise and honor the Lord for loving me and for being concerned about my pet dog named Quincy.  Quincy is around 14 years old and was starting to get age-related health problems.  Recently, the vet said he had congestive heart disease.  I’d been learning about healing provided by Jesus.  So, I started praying and speaking scriptures about healing and life over him every day.  Slowly but surely, his symptoms started to decrease.  Each week, I observed him returning to a more alert, alive, and happier state.  He is now sleeping without congestion at night, walking longer distances, and even playing a little bit with his toys.  He is also eating better which is an answered prayer about his digestion.  I thank the Lord with all my heart because I know that Quincy will not suffer any more in his senior years.  The Lord answered my prayers for my beloved pet and companion.  I give him thanks, and praise for his kindness.  -Karen

 

 

Neck Pain Healed Instantly

Marilyn was looking for a church that believes in signs and wonders. A friend invited her to Grace Life Fellowship.  The church was meeting at Pastors Rick and Rebekah’s house at the time.  Before entering, Marilyn asked God to give her a sign that this was the church for her.  Pastor Rick noticed Mailyn in the back of the room.  She was lifting her head up and down, left and right and turning her head to look back.  At the end of the service, she asked if she could give a testimony.  For years she had been suffering with neck issues, pain stiffness, and limited motion.  During the service it all just left her!  She now had freedom of motion and stiffness.  She was amazed that no one even laid hands on her.

 

 

Knee Pain Healed

Nancy had pain in her knees for some time.  At one of our services, one of Grace Life’s trained prayer ministers laid hands on her and the pain left!

 

Kidneys Miraculously Healed

 

Exciting update from recent checkup:  I went to the kidney specialist today (Dec 10, 2024). My blood-work is all great! He said that normal kidney function is 65% or better.  My kidneys are functioning at 75%!  He said that when I was in the hospital in July 2024, my kidneys were functioning at 7%, and that most people with my diagnosis NEVER come off dialysis. This just confirms that I was miraculously healed. I am so blessed!!

 

Testimony of Healing from Acute Colitis and Kidney Failure

In June 2024, I attended a healing service by Pastor Rick Porterfield where I received a handout of scriptures about God's healing power. Little did I know how significant this would become in the months ahead.

 

In July, I experienced a medical crisis. It started with bleeding every time I used the bathroom, and I had to go to our local ER on July 8th and 9th. By the second day I was throwing up blood. After being diagnosed with acute colitis, I was transferred to the hospital by ambulance. My condition got worse, and I ended up needing 3 units of blood. My kidneys failed, and my body filled with toxins that affected my brain.

 

I wasn't alone in this fight. My husband John and our two sons rallied around me, along with their church families in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. My women's Bible study group from New York, my swimming and golfing friends, and my local church family all joined in prayer for my healing. My friend Linda Sagaille from Colorado was praying too, and someone even made me a prayer quilt.

 

One of the most powerful moments came when Kris, Karen, Mindy, Dan, and LeLe visited me in the hospital. They connected with Pastors Rick and Rebekah by phone, and we had communion together and they prayed for my healing. Throughout my stay, Kris, Karen, Mindy, and Dan would come to pray over both John and me.

 

Remember that handout from Pastor Rick in June? When I went to the hospital, I had John bring it along with my toiletries. It had been sitting on my Florida room table, and I kept clinging to one particular verse: "...by whose stripes YOU were healed" (1 Peter 2:24 NKJV).

 

When faced with two options for my kidneys - either a dangerous drug that could kill me or 2-3 months of dialysis - John and I chose dialysis. Through five weeks of treatment, I held onto that verse about healing. Even when I had a setback - being sent home only to relapse with toxins filling my body again - I knew I would be fine. The devil wasn't going to get me down!

 

My recovery was nothing short of miraculous. Instead of the expected 2-3 months of dialysis, I only needed 5 weeks! When the doctor saw my bloodwork, he said it looked good and told me to get the port out right away, rather than waiting the standard 3 weeks. Within just 2 months, I was back to water aerobics and golf!

 

I know my healing came through a powerful combination: my faith in God's Word, my amazing prayer warriors, my loving family (especially my wonderful husband), and God's love for me. Thank you, Jesus!- Linda

God's Favor

Proverbs 3:4 says, "And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man."  NKJV

​

I have claimed that verse many times, in situations that could be difficult.  It's not just that I claim it, I have seen it in operation, many times over the years.  I believe it.

​

I had two situations happen last week in which I found favor.  I didn't pray, or claim anything prior to the events, I simply walked in the understanding of my rights and promises of the Lord.

​

The first took place at the eye doctor.  There was a bill for several hundred dollars that I simply did not owe.  I went into the office and explained why I did not owe it.  The lady made some phone calls and looked things up on the computer.  She decided it was their mistake and that they were "writing off" this amount and that I owed nothing.  I thanked and blessed her upon leaving.  Praise God!

The second was at the tire store.  We had a screw in our tire causing a leak, and it needed to get fixed.  We were headed out of town for my birthday.  My husband had mentioned to them that we were leaving town to celebrate my birthday.  The repairman said he decided to not charge the $26 for the repair as their way of wishing me a happy birthday.  Halleluiah!  Again, I expressed gratitude and blessed them upon leaving.

All the promises in the Old Testament and New are ours to claim and walk in, as we go about our life here on Earth.  When you know the promises and have them deep within you, you just wait to see what God will do next! -  Debbie

God's Guidance

I recently stopped to change the time on my car's clock.  When I tried to start the car again, no luck!  It wouldn't start.  I started praying and got out of the car.  A man and his wife- David and Linda, stopped to help.  I had jumper cables in my trunk.  They helped me get the car started.  I went to a local shop in Wildwood for a new battery as I knew it was 8 years old.  They said I would have to go to Leesburg for the right battery.  I continued praying and God led me to go to Wildwood Tires, just a block away.   They fixed the problem immediately and I was on my way giving all praise to my heavenly father who always supplies my every need.  Psalms 73:28 says, "I will tell everyone about the wonderful things God does.  - Joan

Back and Neck Pain: Gone!

This past Sunday I did not know if I would make it to service because I had been awake all night with back and neck pain. I could hardly walk to the bathroom.  As morning came I could move enough to go to the 9:30 service.

During worship a tangible anointing for healing came upon us and I went up for prayer.  There were about 5 of us who responded. 

I was the last to receive prayer, and I noticed some change right away, but not a full recovery by the end of service.

I was able to go to work and by night's end, I was 60% recovered.  By Monday evening, I was 100% recovered!

Praise God for His Word and Faithfulness.

Ringing in my ears:  GONE!

I was at an Abundant Life event with my pastors and other friends from Grace Life Fellowship.  At the end of the first night, Carlie Terradez had us place hands on those nearby us and proclaim healing.  Mindy placed her hand on my ear that had been ringing for a long time.  Immediately I felt warmth in my ear.  I didn't notice anything else until I got home.  I usually put the TV or earphones on to drown out the ringing before I go to bed.  I didn't need them anymore.  The ringing was gone!  Thank you Jesus! - Maryland
